About the challenge
The CGCian Dream² Bigger Internal Hackathon is an exciting innovation sprint designed exclusively for CGCian employees to foster creativity, collaboration, and cutting-edge problem-solving within the organization. This internal hackathon challenges participants to identify real-world problems faced by the company or industry and develop innovative, tech-driven solutions in a time-bound, high-energy environment.
Participants will form cross-functional teams to brainstorm, design, and prototype solutions that could range from improving operational efficiencies, enhancing customer experiences, to pioneering new digital products or services. The challenge is not just to code fast but to think smart leveraging emerging technologies, data analytics, automation, and more to create impactful solutions aligned with CGCian’s strategic goals.
This hackathon is more than just competition it’s a platform to unleash potential, drive cultural innovation, and accelerate CGCian’s journey toward a smarter, more agile future.

Requirements

What to Build:

  • Innovative Solutions: Build a prototype or minimum viable product (MVP) that addresses a specific challenge within CGCian or its industry.

  • Focus Areas: Solutions can target any of the following (or related) domains:

    • Process automation & optimization

    • Customer experience enhancement

    • Data-driven insights & analytics

    • AI/ML-powered tools and applications

    • Digital transformation & new business models

    • Sustainability and social impact initiatives

  • Technology: Use any tech stack or platform suitable for rapid prototyping, including web/mobile apps, APIs, chatbots, IoT, or data solutions.

  • Teamwork: Collaborate across functions to bring diverse perspectives and skills.

What to Submit:

  • Working Prototype: A functional demo or MVP showcasing the core features and value of your solution.

  • Project Documentation: Brief overview including:

    • Problem statement

    • Proposed solution and its benefits

    • Technologies used

    • Implementation plan or next steps

  • Pitch Presentation: A short slide deck (5-7 slides) or video (3-5 minutes) explaining your idea, approach, and impact.

  • Source Code: Clean, commented code repository (e.g., GitHub link) with instructions to run the project.
